• The business meeting was held at St Francis Hospital-Bartlett and was called to order at 6:02 pm by John Bandura, President.
• The minutes from the February 2, 2012 meeting were submitted by Angela Phillips, Secretary, and approved as written.  (Moved: Rogers, 2^nd: Clary)
• The treasurer’s report was presented by Donna Clary, Treasurer, and approved as written. (Moved: Rogers, 2^nd: Jamison). 
• Student Liaison Report: none given
• Old business discussed:
• John Bandura, President, spoke on increasing membership
• The blog, www.memphislablinks.blogspot.com, is now live
• New business discussed:
• MSCLS will donate $200 to the Ann Bell Scholarship Fund at UTHSC (Moved: Rogers, 2^nd: Clark)
• There is no TALC this year, but we will have a Tri-State meeting in Tunica, MS with MS and LA.  Student Bowl will be on April 10 with educational sessions on April 11-13 at Harrah’s.  Session info is being confirmed and will be sent via email and posted on the blog as soon as it is available.  First time new members of ASCLS will get an extended 17-month membership if joining at the meeting.
• Rebecca Rogers announced that you can now choose to have your CE Organizer PACE data merged with your BOC Certification Maintenance Program info.
• Please email Wes Williamson if you would like to serve as a delegate to the National Meeting. (ASCLS Annual Meeting is July 17-21 in Los Angeles, CA)
• National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is April 22-28, 2012
• Darius Wilson is seeking nominations for next year’s MSCLS positions
• An MSCLS awards event will be held this summer
• Announcements:
• There are several job openings in the Memphis Area:
• SFH-B, St. Jude, Methodist South, SFH-M, AEL
• Next meeting: Legislative Update presented by Angela Phillips and Rebecca Rogers, St. Francis-Memphis on April 5 at 6:00pm
• Rebecca Rogers announced that Angela Phillips is running for ASCLS Region III Director
