• The business meeting was held at AEL and was called to order at 6:56 pm by John Bandura, President.
• The minutes from the October 6, 2011 meeting were submitted by Angela Phillips, Secretary, and approved as written.  (Moved: Rogers, 2^nd: Ingram)
• The treasurer’s report was presented by Donna Clary, Treasurer, and approved as written. (Moved: Jamison, 2^nd: Hardy)
• Student Liaison Report: none given
• Old business discussed:
• John Bandura, President, spoke on increasing membership
• The blog, www.memphislablinks.blogspot.com, is now live
• New business discussed:
• UTHSC will now be offering an MLT to MT program
• A Christmas party is being scheduled; details to follow
• ASCLS-TN Board Meeting is November 19^th in Nashville
• Announcements:
• There are several job openings in the Memphis Area:
• SFH-M, SFH-B, St. Jude, The Medical Group
• Next meeting
• Linda Ross, MS, MLS with meeting held at St Francis-Memphis, on January 5, 2012 at 6:00pm.

NOVEMBER MSCLS MEETING

Please join us at American Esoterics Laboratories (AEL) on November 3, 2011 at 6:00 pm for the next MSCLS meeting.  Dr. Toni Clinton from AEL will be presenting "Vitamin D Testing".  Dinner will be provided, as will a tour of AEL's new laboratory if you are interested.  Please also help us support the Midsouth Food Bank by bringing canned food items for our November food drive.  Thanks!
