- The minutes from the June 2011 meeting were submitted by Krystal Triplett, Secretary, and approved as written. (Moved: R. Rogers, 2nd: L. Ross)
- The treasurer’s report was presented by Donna Clary, Treasurer. We have approximately $1600 in the account, and renewals are coming in.

- Old business discussed:
- Melissa Heisse gave an update from the ASCLS National Meeting
- The blog, http://www.memphislablinks.blogspot.com/, is now live
- New business discussed:
- Linda Ross asked for volunteers to speak to students about membership
- Goals for 2011-2012 to include more volunteer work as a society
- Encourage renewals and new memberships
